Tianchen Laser Delivers 12kW MC3609 3-Chuck Heavy-Duty Tube Laser to South Korean Shipbuilding Client

Tianchen Laser is pleased to announce the successful delivery and commissioning of an MC3609 heavy-duty fiber laser tube cutting machine to a prominent shipbuilding manufacturer in Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. Equipped with a 12kW fiber laser source and a robust 3-chuck configuration, the machine is purpose-built to handle large-diameter marine pipes and heavy structural profiles essential for the shipbuilding industry.

The MC3609's 3-chuck system enables stable, zero-tailing processing of round, square, and rectangular tubes up to 360mm in diameter, as well as open profiles such as I-beams, channel steel, and angle steel. Combined with automatic centering, intelligent corner process optimization, and optional 3D bevel cutting, the machine delivers weld-ready precision for even the most demanding marine applications.
