Peak-Season Delivery Runs On: Tianchen Laser Completes Protective Packing and Ships Another Batch of Laser Cutting Machines

From full-machine film wrapping to export crate sealing, the last production step before dispatch happens on the loading bay

Another batch of overseas orders for large-format laser cutting machines has cleared its final production step at Tianchen Laser, with protective packing and truck loading completed at the company's loading bay. Each machine passed full-machine inspection before cleaning, protective film wrapping, mounting to a custom timber base and sealing into an export crate — then was lifted by forklift into the transport vehicle for dispatch to overseas markets.

Packing is the last quality gate before delivery
A laser cutting machine only enters the packing stage after commissioning and inspection have confirmed that every function works. That stage is more than wrapping: the machine is first cleaned and treated against corrosion, then wrapped in silver protective film laid down as one continuous, closely fitting, unbroken layer. The machine is then mounted to a custom timber base and fixed to it by bolts and support structures so that body and base move as a single unit, with clearance left between machine and crate wall to absorb movement and impact in transit.

On the loading bay, packed machines stand beside their export crates. Lifting points are marked on the crate sides at the centre of gravity so that every later handling step follows the same reference.

On the loading bay
Loading takes place at the bay running along one side of the workshop, on a floor marked with green traffic lanes. Once the vehicle is in position, the crew loads in sequence — the crate deepest inside the trailer first, then the machines nearer the doors.

In the sequence recorded on site, an orange forklift lifts the sealed machine and feeds it slowly into the box trailer. Crew members walk on both sides of the load, holding guide lines to steer the crate as it travels, keeping the machine centred and clear of the trailer walls. After the machine is set down, it is lashed and secured so it cannot shift forward or back during transport.

The whole operation was carried out in daylight, with natural light from the workshop's side windows combining with the hall lighting to keep the working area bright enough for the crew to watch the clearance between machine and trailer.

Why overseas orders get both film and crates
Overseas delivery involves road transport, port storage and ocean freight — repeated handling and transfer, plus significant swings in temperature and humidity. The packing has to cover three things at once:

Moisture — the protective film forms a continuous sealed layer that keeps out humid sea air and condensation;
Vibration — the timber base and cushioning structure absorb shock from handling and transport;
Impact — the export crate provides rigid external protection so the unit is not crushed during stacking or lifting.

Crates and bases are made to each machine's actual dimensions and centre of gravity, marked on the outside with lifting and stacking orientation, and checked before dispatch.

How peak-season delivery is paced
Peak season releases orders in a cluster, and the pressure lands on packing and loading — the last steps, but ones with hard deadlines. Tianchen Laser works back from the shipping plan to set packing and loading milestones, with production, quality, warehousing and logistics all running to one timetable so that a machine can enter the dispatch flow on schedule once inspection is complete, and the end steps never push the overall delivery date.
